Happy things

Last January, I was so caught up in the whole we-just-got-engaged and woohoo-let’s-plan-a-wedding shindig, that the month just flew by. So when the first full week of January this year came along, I was suddenly remembered that, even with the fresh possibility of a new year and every positive thought I throw at it, January can be just a bit meh. That first week felt truly looooong and the blues were kicking in big time.

But then, I dunno, after a bit of minor moping, I just seemed to get into the swing of things. I relished the return of routine and a new start and getting shit organised. Of course, I’d only just got started when I set off for the first of three weekends away. After a weekend in Kent, I headed to Towcester for a weekend with my gals and I’m currently writing this from my dad’s sofa in Sheffield. I’m hoping February will be slightly more home-based so I can feel like I am truly on top of things before wedding admin inevitably starts to take over our lives.

Some recent happy things:

Anna Newton’s (aka The Anna Edit) new book arrived at the beginning of the month and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. I love Anna’s blog & I would have given her book a read anyway, so I wasn’t quite prepared for her life-organisation book to inspire me as much as it did. I have BIG plans to de-clutter and re-organise our whole flat and have already sorted through my entire wardrobe (lol I now have a clothes inventory) and, get this, have jumped on the bullet journal bandwagon. Doubt I’ll ever go back tbh.

The stranger at Liverpool station who stopped me to say ‘excuse me, you are exceptionally beautiful’ and then just went on her way. What a gal.

Series 4 of My Dad Wrote A Porno has been seeing my though the dreary January weekdays. This podcast is one of the only podcasts I have religiously stuck with and series 4 was probably my favourite yet. I like to save up the series so I can listen in one go so I’ve been listening to it on my commute throughout January, and I’ve finally given up trying to not laugh out loud in the middle of a quiet train carriage.

Sheffield street art which I forced my dad and sister to walk around a building site and through a car park for, so I could take photos.

My photo a day challenge is injecting a little bit of creativity into each day just as I hoped, and I’m not fed up of it just yet!

Wedmin which I both love and yet feels seemingly relentless. There will always be something that needs doing between now and June which can feel a tad never-ending when sometimes you just wanna lie in a heap on the sofa, but it’s also stupidly exciting and I like that the final countdown is getting closer and closer. I have just over six weeks until my hen do and less than four months to go until the day!

Little Gems: 34 | Embracing Routine

Recent happy things

Before I delve into the recent good stuff, the little things that have made me happy recently, I’m just gonna note – like a massive cliché – how freakin’ quick summer and September went and how can we possibly be in the final leg of 2018?!

(But also, yes, beyond thrilled that Christmas is a mere 10 weeks away. My inner elf will be emerging any day now. Don’t turn that into an innuendo ffs.)

After a very hectic summer, at lot of which was spent living out of a suitcase, I am very much embracing a bit of routine at the moment. The suitcase is now in the cupboard for the next few months and I am all about fresh paperchase planners, organised inboxes and twice weekly gym sessions. No seriously…

Autumn. We all know the season of golden leaves and blustery winds is my favourite time of year so, yup, currently being that person kicking my way through the piles of crunchy leaves with child-like glee.

Hello Fresh. Beyond bored of the mid-week meal rut and finally accepting we were not getting out of it, we signed up for a meal subscription service. Reader, I am loving it. It is a sheer joy to constantly have healthy, delicious meals ready to whip up after work. We’re eating so much better, potentially actually saving money on food and I love the fact it’s improving my cooking skills. I am an official Hello Fresh convert.

Joining the gym. I know; who am I? G and I now have a couple’s gym membership – a sentence I never thought I’d say. We’re trying to go twice a week and I’m actually kinda enjoying it? Assuming I’ve been body-swapped with an alien or summin’.

Skin care routine. I realise this list is starting to sound kinda wanky – I can only apologise. This is what happens when you get really excited about having a bit of a routine to get into; I want routine in all aspects of life. Anyway, yeah, I’m taking my skin care routine seriously. Clay masks! Double cleansing! Acids! Nope, no idea what any of it really means either. But my skin feels incredible so there ya go.

Wardrobe clear out. Ya know capsule wardrobes? Yeah, I don’t have one. Not even close. But I’m trying to adopt the mindset of a capsule wardrobe meaning my wardrobe clear-out in September was brutal and I’m trying to be more mindful with clothes in general. Unless I love it, it ain’t staying or coming home with me and I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how much this does for my confidence (you’d have thought it would have been obvious but apparently not). Also, I can actually open the drawers/wardrobe without a fear of being swallowed up by a pit of long-forgotten clothes so that’s nice.

Thinx Period Pants. They deserve a shout out okay? A huuuuge shout out. I love the period pants you guys, LOVE EM. Don’t wanna be dramatic but, yes, my life has changed forever. I will keep talking about them over breakfast and I have no shame.

TV. I mean, where to begin? There is so much good stuff on atm, I’m genuinely struggling to keep up. I have a physical list of what to catch up on for crying out loud. Shout out to Bodyguard though – what. a. series. Also a female Doctor! I loved Jodie Whittaker so much that I watched the first episode twice. Oh and Bake Off is back which is a fabulous excuse to eat cake if nothing else. Rahul to win?

Chilli honey. So this my friends, is the discovery of the summer. It is dreamy with a whole heap of sexiness thrown in. I first came across it at my favourite pizza market stall in St A and loved it so much, I ordered my own bottle. It’s food of the gods, I swear. You can buy a bottle here. You are welcome.

Honeymoon is (mostly) booked. We’ve still got a few nights of the trip which we need to book our accommodation for but our little post-wedding adventure is coming together. I’ll probs spend 90% of the time referring to G as ‘husband’ just because.

Caffe Nero. I have discovered that the top floor of the St Albans Caffe Nero is this peaceful little haven that’s perfect for a good writing sesh. Their cakes aren’t at my standards but nobody’s perfect I suppose.

Sainsbury’s candle haul. Another reason I love this time of year; CANDLE TIME. G had to wait patiently whilst I ran around the Sainsbury’s home section the other weekend. There were rows of candles and I was losing my shit. Crackin’ times.

Have a great weekend dear reader.

Happy things

I cleaned the bathroom this morning and man does it feel good. It looks like the kind of bathroom you might be willing to actually bathe in now, rather than some place you’d hover-pee in. I also made the genius decision of adding two new bars of Lush soap, one on the side of the bath and one on the side of the sink, and now the room legit smells like a Lush shop and I am all about that life.

I am currently dosed up on ibuprofen – in an attempt to battle horrendous period pains – but am trying not to let it ruin my Saturday. G is away and I’m having one of those days where you just potter about. I’ve cleaned the bathroom, tidied and hoovered the rest of the flat, wandered out to buy fresh peonies, sat on the terrace and started a new book with magnum in hand (can confirm the praline flavour is a good’un) and am in the process of baking some fresh cookies with an Elton John album blaring in the background. Just call me a domestic goddess. Rest of the day will probably include a bath-bomb-filled bath in my freshly cleaned bathroom and a bowl of pasta pesto with a week's worth of Corrie. Living the dream (kinda is my idea of living the dream tbh).

Anyway, some recent good stuff from the past few weeks:

Summer does seem to be sticking around finally and it’s making my heart sing more than usual. I love the quirks of each season and G jokes that I’m always done with one and ready for the next several weeks before they arrive. But, this year in particular, it really did feel like winter dragged it out as long as possible and I have been yearning for some sunshine. Also there have been some truly epic thunderstorms recently and the lightning has been incredible!

Plans for the summer are growing by the second. The big ones include holidays to Scotland and Croatia as well as weekends in Devon and the Peak District and plenty of little plans and day trips with friends in between. And ice cream obviously.

The Irish referendum results. HELL YES. What a beautiful moment. I was pretty shocked at the blatant lies and scare-mongering on the ‘vote no’ posters whilst we were in Ireland the other week and so relieved to see the yes vote win, and by a landslide as well! It should always be a woman’s choice no matter what.

I’ve become a little more refined with my reading. My natural instinct has always been to finish a book but I’m learning that struggling to finish a book is simply a waste of time when time is already precious. I was reading The Crow Girl recently and it was well written, creepy plot line… but I found it really disturbing and began to lose my motivation to pick up after 150 pages or so. So I put it on the shelf for another day and moved on, and I found it rather liberating. I’m also becoming more selective about what I read and it means I’ve read some absolutely brilliant novels recently.

Sat in our favourite pub last night chatting about how, in exactly a year’s time, we would be getting married there!

Watching Designated Survivor on Netflix and The Handmaid’s Tale now it’s back on Channel 4. Both so good! Also v much enjoying A Very English Scandal; the BBC mini series about Jeremy Thorpe currently airing.

This mac n cheese recipe by Katy. I swapped the courgette for broccoli cos I’m not a fan of courgette but otherwise so. damn. good. The garlic in the sauce is uh-mazing.

My trainer collection seems to have grown once again. I had an Asos voucher burning a hole in my pocket and as a result, these converse and these vans have ended up on my feet. Those yellow vans though <3

Peony season. How can you not love it?! 100% my favourite flowers.

Really loved this article on the suicide storyline in Corrie. I’m a not-so-secret fan of Corrie and I think this storyline was handled so well and raised a lot of awareness. Watching it was about as fun as sticking pins in your eyes but that’s hardly the point.

We spent an afternoon in Cambridge during the bank holiday weekend. We sat in a pub right on the river and watched all the punters going up and down whilst munching on nachos and Eton mess. It was pretty dreamy.

Films I’ve loved recently: Ladybird (like watching a beautiful Polaroid picture), Journeyman (heartbreaking), Love Simon (hell yes to a high school rom com with a gay protagonist) and A Quiet Place (so clever, so terrifying).

Hope your weekend is a good one dear reader.

Recent happy things

It seems like there’s no other way to start this post than THE WEATHER. IT’S SNOWING. IT’S BLOODY FREEZING. THERE IS AN ARCTIC CHILL UPON US.

I feel that’s a pretty accurate summary of the news the past week? Who knows what else has happened in the world; I’m assuming all politics just stopped whilst the white stuff descended?

Anyway, happy March! The beginning of Spring…. Apparently (it does seem to have warmed up today tbf). Here’s some of the recent good stuff:

I survived long haul flying! The prospect of spending approximately 13 hours on a plane to and from Singapore was not something I was remotely looking forward to. I don’t like flying; I wouldn’t say I’m actually scared of flying but I find the whole airport/flight experience pretty anxiety-provoking. But I got through both flights with no issues (apart from the usual WHY NO LEG ROOM).

Coming home to flowers and cookies. I arrived back from Heathrow airport on a Tuesday at about 7:30 in the morning, just as G was leaving for work. There were fresh flowers on the windowsill and homemade cookies on the kitchen counter and if that’s not the best welcome home, then I don’t know what is.

Shetland is back! I have so much love for this moody crime drama and those sweeping scenery shots are making me so excited for our Scottish Highlands adventure in July.

How to break up with your phone. Yeah, so you may have read this post and you’re going to be hearing a lot more about this book in the near future. It’s a very interesting (scary) read and may change your life a little bit.

Harry Potter exhibition & The Fable. I went to the Harry Potter: History of Magic exhibition which was so interesting. I thought I was an expert on all things Harry but there was loads of additional information that I didn’t know about; original scenes that never made it to the book and loads of JK’s handwritten notes and plans. Afterwards, we went for dinner at The Fable – I’m not sure this lived up to the hype but the food was good and I looooved the book table.

Gavin & Stacey. After years of watching random episodes on TV, I finally decided it was time to watch all 3 seasons from start to finish which I did mostly on the flights to and from Singapore. Kinda embarrassed it took me this long to be honest; what a show.

THIS IS THE GREATEST SHOOOOWWW. Yeah, so I finally got round to seeing The Greatest Showman and, yes, I am obsessed. That soundtrack is a permanent feature in my ears at the mo. IT’S SO GOOD.

Nail Art. When we were in Singapore, Alice and I got our nails done at The Nail Artelier and, without a doubt, my nails have never looked prettier. It took two hours because the nail artist individually painted on each flower (I was amazed) but they were so worth the wait. It’s also made me want to have gel nails more as they last for aaaaages.

Catch up weekend. The weekend after I got back from Singapore, I played catch up with my birthday and pancake day (which both happened whilst I was away). I had a birthday meal with my fam (and came away with a hefty amount of asos vouchers – cue lots of browsing) and G and I had pancakes for lunch on the Sunday. I will never miss out on pancake day!

It’s a nice day for a white wedding. We battled the snowstorms to get to my best friend’s wedding at the weekend and it was the most beautiful day (no you cried…).

Life lately and happy things

Thank fuck it’s Friday, s’all I’m saying.

Well, okay no, that’s not all I’m saying because, as we all know, I have the ability to say quite a lot.

I’m currently perched on a stool in a café, munching my way through a toastie and already thinking about the nachos and padron peppers I plan on whipping up for dinner later. Do I think about food too much oooorrrr…

Work has been v hectic and I-think-my-mind-is-going-to-implode yet again this week. Why so many deadlines in January huh huh? I don’t know where January has gone between mad work weeks and wedding planning and family weekends.

It hit me this morning that I have two weeks left before Singapore and I had a mild freak out over plug adapters for crying out loud. Do I need em, WHAT KIND DO I NEED. Lol, think I’m over-tired.

Wedding planning. In an efficient and organised fashion (not the usual state of affairs in my life, I assure you), we have booked our wedding. Not all the details obviously, I’m not freakin’ superwoman, but we have a date, we have a ceremony and we have a venue; it's v exciting. I’m going to do a bigger post on all this soon (sorry if wedding planning makes you want to pull out your own hair but this is where I record my memories sooooo).

Travel planning. Potentially even more fun (although not sure I’m technically supposed to say that) has been planning our adventures for the year ahead. G and I have now plotted our route for when we drive the North Coast 500 in July, including all our accommodation. Researching 8 different places to stay is a bit like planning 8 different trips and, needless to say, it is so much fun.

Booking Singapore. Gotta love a bit of extra annual leave, spontaneity and BA January sales all coming together.

Hoover. Yup, that's right, my hoover is a highlight. For Christmas, my mum and step-dad bought me a cordless hoover and, well, IT’S A GAME CHANGER GUYS. Not sure when I became this person but I’m rolling with it.

Being voted vice-chair on the board of trustees I sit on for a charity. Still not entirely sure how that happened tbh…

The Rosie Project – I’m late to the party I know, but this was just the loveliest book. Would absolutely recommend (here).

A mid-week hangover. I mean, I didn’t necessarily enjoy this but I did enjoy the evening in the pub with good people the night before.

Finding my engagement ring. IT’S SO SPARKLY.

Have a lovely weekend all x

St Albans cathedral in autumn

Currently sat on the sofa with a fried egg sandwich sitting in my belly and listening to the cathedral bells play their usual Sunday tune. G is winding me up by refusing to book tickets to go see Paddington 2 at the cinema and I'm debating whether it's too early to go buy a mint hot chocolate from Costa.

How's your Sunday going?

Here’s some highlights from the last few weeks.

Hen do. I spent last weekend at my gal’s hen do. She’s the first out of our group to get married so naturally it’s very exciting. We did a gin distillery tour, went out for a lovely meal, drank a number of bottles of prosecco in a wine bar and ended the night dancing for several hours to an uh-mazing combination of 80s and 90s music. Bring on the wedding!

A cosy flat. I’ve cracked this year and insisted that we invest in a portable heater for the flat. Despite it being small, we have an open plan kitchen/living area and the small radiator at one end of the room is not sufficient enough to heat the place up in winter. G took a trip to Argos and now the flat is really cosy and this makes me v happy.

Tapas night. After a particularly dreamy meal in a tapas restaurant in south London, G and I decided we would recreate our own tapas night at home. We made our own patatas bravas, goat’s cheese croquettes, padron peppers, wine&honey chorizo and a load of hummus, and omg so good. Particularly the padron peppers; they were truly addictive.

The Handmaid's Tale. I finally got round to watching this series and OH MY GOD IT IS INCREDIBLE. That is all.

Work. Yeah, I know, not one to usually make my highlights. But, well, it’s going pretty well atm. In a stressful, slightly nerve wracking kinda way for sure. But well all the same.

Labour of Love. G and I saw this political comedy a few weeks ago and it was honestly one of the best theatre shows I have ever seen. I came out with aching cheeks from laughing so hard. It’s only running for a couple more weeks and I couldn’t recommend more. You can buy tickets here.

My first sponsored post. It was pretty cool when a brand reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in doing a paid blog post (over here if you’re interested). Whatever the scenario, getting paid to write is always gonna feel pretty surreal, and special, for me. One day I’ll get paid for that novel…

Scrapbooking. I. Have. Finally. Started. I’ve been meaning to start getting my millions of photos into scrapbooks/albums for god knows how many years. Seriously, it’s embarrassing how long it’s taken me to get round to it.

Cinema cheese plate. We've had two cinema trips at The Odyssey this weekend and on last night's trip we tried out their new cheese plate for £7. Sitting in a cinema with a plate full of cheese, crackers, grapes and apple slices = life goals.

Festivities. Fiiiiive weeks until Christmas. I feel my festive spirit is bigger than ever before this year and I am loving seeing all the decorations go up everywhere! From the shop windows, to the lights around St Albans to the floral Christmas tree in St Pancras; it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. I am so darn ready to spend the rest of the year being as festive as I possibly can.

Ah weekends. Not sure I’ve ever been so pleased to hit a Friday as I was this week. It felt like a very intense first week back after a holiday; all about work and not much else. Urgh. G and I went straight to the pub after we both got back from work on Friday evening and, despite claiming we were just going for one, ended up with a hefty hangover on Saturday morning. So Saturday pretty much consisted of eating cheese, hummus and bacon bagels and having two baths in the space of five hours. Cos baths cure all ills.

We just got back from our local pub after a lovely Sunday roast with my parents and my sticky toffee food baby and I plan on spending the rest of the evening curled up in a warm, cosy heap on the sofa. Shrek 2 is on in the background and there’s left over hummus in the fridge should one require a snack.

Given all the utterly rubbish things currently going on around the world, I appreciate all the small things even more right now.

So here are some of the lovely little things from recently:

Sandy toes. G persuaded me to kick off my shoes and socks when we were on Bamburgh beach during our mini holiday last week. The water was freakin’ freezing hence my initial reluctance, but there’s just something about getting your toes stuck in to the sea and sand that is just so good for the soul.

GBBO is back! I know, I know, it’s controversial this year but I’m pleased Channel 4 have barely deviated from the structure so it’s still really enjoyable. I miss Mary, Mel and Sue but I do think Noel Fielding is going to be crackin’ once he truly gets going. Plus it’s a great excuse to have cake every Tuesday night.

TV in general at the moment! I am loving the Cormoran Strike novel adaptations; the BBC have absolutely nailed it. Doctor Foster is back and I’d forgotten how much I loved it. Kill him Gemma, kill him. I also really enjoyed Trust Me, another BBC drama about a nurse who assumes her best friend’s identity as a senior doctor. It was unbelievably tense and I couldn’t stop thinking about it for ages afterwards. OH and I’m 4 episodes into The Handmaid’s Tale after reading the book and so far, I think it’s a bloody marvellous adaptation.

St Albans annual pub crawl. Can you call something a tradition if you’ve only done it twice? Wannabe tradition? Anyhoo, on bank holiday weekend last year, G and I hosted a St Albans pub crawl as a housewarming thing and we decided to go again this year. It gives me that warm, fuzzy feeling to have a bunch of your favourite people come visit for a lot of drinks and chat <3

Denim jacket. The oversized denim jacket from New Look I’m wearing above is my new current love and no other jacket can get a look in right now.

Meeting Eliza. On our way up to Newcastle last week, we stopped off to see my cousin and her baby, born in July, and omg was she just lovely. I’m not broody, swear…

Lush. I am a tad obsessed with Lush products at the mo. Particularly anything that creates a particularly sexy bath. Their comforter bubble bar is just divine.

Jamie’s 5 ingredients cook book. I’m really excited to get stuck into the recipes in this book, which I bought on a bit of a whim when I saw it discounted in Sainsbury’s. The concept is just what I need in my life; the biggest thing that puts me off trying new recipes is the long ingredient list cos girl does not want to spend all her free time wandering around supermarkets when she could be tucked up on the sofa in her dressing gown.

Autumn. There are orange leaves on the ground people. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. I love this time of year.

Hope your weekend was full of wine and baths and Sunday roasts.

A list of little, happy things

I feel a tad broken. I am sure you will be keen to hear that I spent a goodly amount of time retching over the toilet bowl on Tuesday night, thanks to a bad reaction to some sea food. Isn’t that just delightful? For some insane reason, I didn’t call in sick to work and have spent the rest of the week feeling like I’m operating on zero energy.

Woe is me.

Anyway, even though the rainy weather would suggest otherwise, August is here. Which I’m finding slightly alarming because holy heck, where is 2017 going and why haven’t I done ANY of the things I wanted to do this summer yet? But I’m also secretly a little bit excited because it means Autumn is on the horizon and I bloody love those last few colourful, fairy light-filled months of the year.

Here’s what I’ve been loving recently:

Kitchenware shopping. Nope, I don’t know when I stopped being cool (ish) either. But holy shit, I am obsessed with these beautiful pasta bowls now living in our cupboard. I keep asking G if he’s excited about eating out the pasta bowls every time we have pasta (which is, you know, a lot) and he looks at me like why you so weird. I can’t wait for the matching dinner plates and bowls to arrive in the post in the next week.

Being in the countryside. The girls and I had a weekend in rural Wales a couple of weeks back (post on this soon) and I cannot tell you how much I loved being in the middle of nowhere with nothing but fresh air and pure silence (in the moments we weren’t singing Britney songs in a wine-fuelled karaoke sesh obviously).

New jobs. G has a new job! Which he starts at the beginning of September. And I will be taking on extra responsibilities at work towards the end of August. So, all in all, there are new things and more money coming our way in the world of work which is always good.

Re-watching Doctor Who. I recently started re-watching the first series of Doctor Who and it makes me feel all cosy and nostalgic. Nothing beats a bit of Chris and Billie. (Although it does alarm me that it’s now TWELVE YEARS OLD).

Eliza Grace. The latest addition to the family, my cousin’s baby, was born on 18th July and I cannot wait to meet her!

Booking a trip to York/Newcastle. G and I both have some time off at the end of the month so we’ve booked a few days away up north. We’re spending the weekend around Northumberland and stopping off in York for a day or two on the way up (where we’ll get to meet Eliza!), and I am so looking forward to it.

Pret’s avocado, cheese and chipotle tortilla. If you haven’t discovered these yet, I just did you a massive favour. You’re welcome.

Hope your weekend is full of wine and cats and cake <3

Little Gems: 27

I just realised that the last time I did a proper Little Gems post was March. MARCH. Last month, I didn’t feel quite right writing a normal one and April was far too preoccupied with being in the Big Apple.

So HI.

After the wonderful chaos that was going to New York and then flying out to Corfu just a few short weeks later, June has been a quiet month. But still full of the little and lovely.

Twenty years of Harry. TWENTY WHOLE YEARS since the first Harry Potter book was published. This made me feel actually, genuinely, old but also warmed my soul (which is wholly intact) because I love it just as much as I did when I was 6 and that’s pretty special. Can’t wait to still be loving you and forcing you on my own children in another twenty years Harry.

Peonies. Finally joined the Instagram cliché crew and bought a punch of peonies (can’t believe it took me so long tbh). Are they not just the most beautiful flowers? Aaaallll the heart emojis.

Line of duty. This was one of those tv dramas I always intended to watch but it never happened and suddenly, there’s four series and everyone is banging on about how good it is. So G and I started watching and, yup, binged watched all four series in a few days. If you’ve watched Line of Duty, you’ll know this was intense. But omg, IT’S SO GOOD.

Harry Potter in concert. Just before we went to Corfu, I took my sister to the Royal Albert Hall to see Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in concert (basically where you watch the film but all the music is played by a live orchestra) for her 21st birthday. To say it was good would be a massive understatement. The music gives you chills and I love how involved the audience we're allowed to be. My favourite moment has got to be when Harry sat down on the stool to be sorted and some lad yelled out 'GO ON HARRY'. That and when everyone clapped when Alan Rickman's name came up in the credits.

Couch to 5k. I mentioned in my exercise post that G and I have started the NHS Couch to 5k running programme. We’re two weeks in and I HAVEN’T GIVEN UP YET. No one is more surprised than me.

First grad job. My sister managed to get a graduate job after her first ever application and first ever interview. So happy and proud of her (if a little jealous at how quickly she managed it).

Food shopping. After a year and 3 months of living together, G and I have finally got our act together and are doing weekly food shops. You know what’s nice? Already having the ingredients in for that random recipe you wanted to try… Also, it’s cheaper and means we eat better. Yay for nailing one aspect of adulting.

ALL the street food last weekend (more here). Aw man, it was all so damn scrummy *googles nearby food markets*.

#HappyBirthdayOllie.  If you haven’t seen this thread on twitter yet, I implore you to go check it out. It will restore all your faith in humanity and the internet.
